  2. good work, well done! It's nice to see that ingenuity can lead to a quality home-made built!
I would like to try the same method of building PCB's myself.
    A couple of questions:
From where did you get the stencil?
From where did you get the SMT Oven?

  3. The stencil is from PCB-POOL (free, if you order prototypes)
and the SMT oven is from eBay (China), model T962

  4. Very nice! I plan to build one for working on my senior project for my Bachelors degree. Question for you tho. How did you make the foot controls for the pen? I saw the page for converting the aquarium pump but nothing on making the foot controls.

  5. Reeeeealy nice!! Congratulations. You are an artist. I was planning to buy an automated pick&place machine and your video has made me to reconsider it completely.

In which shop do you order the stencil?

  6. Bought that Chinese T962 one myself, you have to tweak the thermocouples that hang down inside that oven to
bring them closer to the PCB for more accurate temperature control. But works well for $250US.
Great video and plans for the pick and place! Thank you...off to build mine...with English dimensions though...ha! :)

  7. How long does your paste last using it like that? I have a syringe/tube I squeeze a little out of at a time, and after the second pass it's already starting to get dry and doesn't flow well. I can only imagine that re-using the paste like you do that it would eventually dry out and ruin most of the container?

    1. There are many paste qualities out there I guess...

    2. You can "rejuvenate" out of date solder paste by mixing a little flux paste with it. Not recommended for commercial production, but works well enough for hobbyists and prototypes.

  8. Good job!
What type of solder paste and what temp. profile do you use?
